Alumni Profile 
Eduardo came to Southern Vermont College as a transfer student in 1995, with an associate degree in Telecommunications from Cayuga Community College in Auburn, New York. After earning his associate degree, Eduardo ran a disc jockey business and played basketball on a men's league but felt compelled to further his education. Through a referral from a friend, Eduardo learned that some former high school buddies were at Southern Vermont College, and he decided to take a closer look at the campus. He liked what he saw, especially the basketball program that was, at the time, under the direction of Coach Brian Fruscio. Eduardo considers his decision to attend Southern Vermont College as "one of the best I've ever made." In 1997, Eduardo earned a B.S. in Communications with a minor in Criminal Justice. He learned of an intern position with Mace, Inc. through a class at Southern Vermont College, and returned to work there shortly after graduating. He speaks fondly of his alma mater and maintains many friendships made during his time here. While at Southern Vermont College, Eduardo played Point Guard for the men's basketball team. He continues to be involved in the College's basketball program and plays in the annual Homecoming game. Eduardo continues to enhance his education through business classes related to his career. Today, Eduardo lives in Marlton, New Jersey. Employed by Mace, Inc., for six years, he is currently the Director of Investor Relations and Assistant Corporate Secretary. His responsibilities include marketing and public relations for the company, as well as for the pepper spray and surveillance systems product lines. He handles service marketing for the carwash businesses that are owned by Mace, and oversees Web site production and press releases. Eduardo keeps equally busy in his personal life. He enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Heather, and other close friends, playing basketball in his men's league, and lifting weights.
